INTRO to 16mm Filmmaking
I will be teaching the introductory class to HANDS ON FILMMAKING, an eight class workshop (of which I will only be teaching the first one).
The workshop covers all of the prep and production required to shoot a 16mm short film.
The introductory class will provide an overview of 16mm practices, including discussions on filmstock, aspect ratios, lighting, writing, style, sound, effects and editing. Throughout this intensive intro we will be viewing clips of well produced, low budget shorts, with an eye towards achieving varied looks from the 16mm process.
